Our major customers are active in the scientific and industrial world.

The patented scanning technology allows us to achieve a very high, non-interpolated frame rate over a large surface.

Such a high scanning speed allows accurate timing measurement of objects in contact with the plate, while maintaining acceptable pressure values.

The objects under test can be virtually anything, although the major applications can be situated in human gait analysis.

Here is an example of a foot measurement :

The color gradient indicates the pressure distribution. Low pressure starts at blue, and gradually changes to red for high pressure zones. These images are produced at a rate of up to 300 frames per second.

Animal gait analysis

Our pressure plates are regularly used for investigations on the gait pattern of different animals. Our plates have been abused by monkeys, horses, cows, elephants and tigers. The tigers even seemed to like the taste of our plates.

Industrial applications

Virtually any object can be measured with the plate, like a bouncing ball, a tire rolling over the plate, snowboards, …
As an example, we have cutout our company logo from a thin piece of foam and glued it onto a wooden plate. Then we pushed the logo onto the plate, and took a screenshot.
